We are happy to host our “Design for Research” seminar in a beautiful tea house next to the Tai Lake, on the Yuantouzhu Peninsula. Tea will be served all the time during the lectures.
We are happy to announce that the proceedings of DeSForM 2013 are published. It is now available online:

If you are going to present a full paper, please prepare a 20 minute presentation in either PowerPoint or PDF. You will also have 10 minutes for discussions. The conference will provide a Windows based laptop and audio equipment for presentation.

For interactive demos, by default, you will have a space of 1mx2m, provided with electricity. The Chinese power outlets are usually versatile enough to handle the plugs worldwide, but do prepare enough adapters for your demo. The standard voltage is 220V in China. If you have special requirements for your demo (for example, a table, or extra space), please inform desform2013@gmail.com as soon as possible.
For each demo, please also prepare an A2 poster, in PDF. We will print and make the posters for you. Please send your PDF to desform2013@gmail.com before September 10.
This year’s DeSForM conference is contributed from different perspectives by authors from the Netherlands, Italy, Czech, Denmark, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, New Zealand and China, covering wide range of topics in 15 long papers and by 11 interactive demos, which are selected from 44 submissions.
